The inlet and outlet union nuts allow for easy installation and in-line servicing. The pressure reducing valve is packaged as a complete unit, preassembled for immediate installation. Legend PRVs are specifically engineered for residential plumbing systems. Each is designed to reduce inlet pressure to a more optimal range of 25 to 75 psi in accordance with local codes. These PRVs are factory set at 50 psi and can be easily adjusted to the desired pressure using an open-end wrench. Reduce your inventory while increasing the breadth of your offering by building your own customized PRV. Select from the four types of connecting adapters and bodies. The adapters are packaged individually with one union nut and washer, (each PRV requires two adapters). If required, select the applicable pressure relief valve size for protection from thermal expansion.
