The T-88 provides superior air and dirt elimination to help maximize efficiency and reduce noise in hydronic systems. The large bowl design combines with the internal stainless steel screen to separate entrained air, micro-bubbles, and debris from the system fluid. The fluid velocity slows as it enters the bowl of the T-88, this does to things that benefit the system. Micro-bubbles or entrapped air can separate from the medium, allowing the automatic air vent to expel the unwanted gases without losing system pressure. Particles of dirt and debris slow and fall to the bottom of the bowl, where they can later be blown out of the system through the purge valve. The body of the T-88 allows for bi-directional flow: improving adaptability and maximizing the performance of critical functions of a system. TheT-88 is fully serviceable with a two piece bowl which allows for easy cleaning or replacement of the stainless steel screen.
