The backflow preventer allows for safe connections between the two systems by preventing back-siphoning from the hydronic system into the potable water system. Setup is simple, using the built-in pressure gauge – which can be mounted to either side of the assembly – dial in the desired system pressure between 7 and 45 psi. The pressure reducing valve is fully serviceable with a removable filter cartridge for easy cleaning or replacement.
