The Mechanical Room - Ambiance TM Radiant heating and cooling ceiling panels. Ambiance is a ceiling based radiant panel system that can be used for heating or cooling applications. Ambiance consists of 2x2 or 2x4 steel panels that fit in standard suspended ceiling grid systems. The panels incorporate aluminum heat transfer plates that conduct heat to or from the panel surface. Copper or PEX tube is connected to the heat transfer plates via flexible braided connectors. The panels are then connected in series to a manifold supplying heated or chilled water. An Ambiance system can easily accommodate as many temperature zones and controls as needed. Ambiance panels can be used in commercial environments for supplying zoned heating and cooling efficiently. In multi-floor buildings, Ambiance can reduce plenum space and result in 5-10% more usable building space. Ambiance panels can be used to provide supplemental heat in small spaces where design constraints do not allow for sufficient heat. Entryways, foyers, bathrooms, and windowed areas are common applications where supplemental heat is needed to provide comfort. AMBIANCE ™ Key Features at a Glance: • Compatible with standard 2x2 and 2x4 ceiling grid systems • Works for heating and cooling applications • Great for new construction or existing ceiling retrofits • Ideal in large, multi-level buildings or small residential spaces • Excellent supplemental heat for basements and entryways 358 | legendvalve.com | LT-CLC-2023 RADIANT HYDRONIC SYSTEMS
