T-88 High Performance Air and Debris Eliminator

The T-88 provides superior air and dirt elimination to help maximize efficiency and reduce noise in hydronic systems.

The large bowl design combines with the internal stainless steel screen to separate entrained air, micro-bubbles and debris from the system fluid. The fluid velocity slows as it enters the larger volume of the T-88 bowl which allows the micro-bubbles and entrained air to separate from fluid, collect on the screen and/or float to the top of the bowl where it is eliminated from the system through the float type air vent. Also at this slower fluid velocity, the heavier dirt and debris particles separate and fall to the bottom of the bowl where it can later be blown out of the system through the purge valve.

The body of the T-88 is also bi-directional for adaptability in maximizing performance of the more critical function required by the particular system.

Key Features at a Glance

  • The T-88 is fully serviceable with a two piece bowl which allows for cleaning and/or replacement of the stainless steel screen
  • The automatic high capacity air vent attaches to the T-88 through a check valve to allow removal without system pressure loss
  • To maximize air removal, the larger half of the bowl should be on top
  • To maximize debris removal, the larger half of the bowl should be on the bottom
  • Union connections
  • 1/4 turn drain valve with GHT and tethered cap
  • A variety of tailpiece connection styles are available (sold separately)
  • Optional magnetic insert to increase debris removal capability
