The plates are arranged so that the ridges create complex flow paths and vigorous turbulence, ensuring the media can achieve maximum heat transfer and efficiently exchange heat energy. The HX Series is built with media compatibility in mind, making them an excellent choice for virtually any application. HX Heat Exchangers: These heat exchangers are built with acid-resistant brazed stainless steel plates and use MNPT connections. HX-DW Double-Wall Heat Exchangers: These heat exchangers use double-walled plates for extra-safe separation of the heating system fluid and potable water, which is often required by code. This separation has the added benefit of internal leak detection.
